Cowboys shoot down Vikings 40 – 3

Imagine if Vikings faced Cowboys in real life? A quick trigger would surely beat an angry axe wielding Dane. Then imagine it’s the NFL… and it’s between rivals.

Axes, long braided hair or a horned helmet weren’t stopping the sure-fire actions of Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings could see it!

After the hammering Green Bay gave Cowboys, the stiff talking to seemed to have paid off and they looked almost flawless.

Vikings were outmatched, both in Defense, Offense and Kirk Cousins found himself shut down and unable to find a receiver. They limped away with a huge loss against Cowboys: 40 – 3.

Who were the six-shooters?

From start to finish, Cowboys owned the game, booked ended with Field goals from Maher (4 in total) one of which was a killer 60 yarder which closed the first half on a high. Then there were the 4 extra points he collected too.

Dak Prescott was back up to form and he was delivering the throws needed to Pollard and Elliott, who were equally exceptional.

One of those amazing moments came just as the second half kicked off and Cowboys faced 3rd and 14. Prescott was able to find Pollard, who was having a feud with line-backer Jordan Hicks. He managed to loft a pass close to the sideline to grab a 68-yard score, making it 30 – 3.

‘That touchdown was all Kellen,’ Prescott said.

Flipped scripts

Cowboy’s offense and defence delivered Kellen Moore and Dan Quinn’s game plan with near perfect precision. That meant they were out to gain ground, 108 yards to be exact. Rushing was their main weapon and it scared the Vikings.

The fans

Vikings fans were angry and frustrated, and for good reason. These are just some of the reactions and they aren’t good.

Who is next?

Minnesota Vikings face New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys go up against New York Jets.

Superbowl contenders?

We were saying it would be the Bills at the beginning of the season but after that game, could the Cowboys be Superbowl contenders? What about Bills vs Cowboys?

Cowboys have won the Superbowl 5 times in their last 8 appearances at the final. Buffalo Bills have appeared in 4 but are yet to win one.

Both teams are square on 7 Wins / 3 Losses.
